NPPB and hydrops fetalis: In HFpEF patients, both B-line count (assessed with the28-zone protocol) and NTproBNP exhibited similar accuracy (AUC~0.86 for both parameters) in predicting the primary outcome,consisting of a composite of hospitalisation for worsening HF, loop diuretic doseescalation and death, at a mean follow-up of 26 months (N = 97) [28], while aB-line count >15 significantly increased the likelihood of adverse outcome withan adjusted HR of 15.47 (p = 0.01).
