The bloodglucose and lipid levels were similar between the two HTN groups, although therewas a significant difference when compared with group A. Group C had reducedLVDd, thickened IVS and LVPW, decreased LV ejection fraction (LVEF), and elevatedcardiac troponin T (cTNT) and N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP) than group B. There was no difference in the use of antihypertensivedrugs between group B and group C. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and hypertensive disorder.
