Analysis of clinical characteristics revealed that the severe CAC group wasolder (p = 0.031) and had a higher prevalence of hypertension(p< 0.001), diabetes (p< 0.001), and smoking.Additionally, this group showed elevated levels of IL-2R (p = 0.002),fasting blood glucose (FBG, p< 0.001), and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c, p< 0.001), alongside reduced estimated glomerular filtrationrate (eGFR, p< 0.001) compared to the non-severe CAC group. Here, IL2RA is linked to diabetes mellitus.
