As shown in Fig. 7A, CASP4 expression was positively correlated with the abundance of B cells (partial correlation = 0.128, P = 9.01e−03), macrophages (partial correlation = 0.1, P = 4.01e−02), neutrophils (partial correlation = 0.125, P = 1.04e−02), and dendritic cells (partial correlation = 0.451, P = 2.31e−22), and negatively correlated with cancer purity (partial correlation = −0.283, P = 3.74e−09) and CD8+ T cells (partial correlation = −0.296, P = 6.60e−10) in the GBM data set.
