To elucidate the regulatory mechanism governing BCAT1 post-translational modification and expression in glioma cells, we conducted a ubiquitin assay to evaluate BCAT1 ubiquitination levels in human malignant glioblastoma multiforme U251 and U87 cells, as well as in human microglial HMC3 cells. The gene discussed is BCAT1; the disease is glioma.
