This is consistent with some previous studies, which found that a homogeneous, well-defined glioma is more likely to be IDH-mutant 1p19q non-codeleted, rather than IDH-wild type or 1p19q-codeleted.17,18 This may reflect underlying differences in tumor biology and microstructural organization in different subtypes, and needs to be further investigated with a larger sample size.
