Comparing these results with a previously described meta-analysis [36], we found 16 common genes, three increased in male (FAM8A1, SNCA, and SPR) and 13 increased in female schizophrenia patients (ANXA4, CD82, CDKN1A, GNG7, HIPK2, ITGA5, NR4A1, NUAK2, PILRB, PPP1R15A, RRBP1, SRGN, and TBX2). Here, PILRB is linked to schizophrenia.
