Patients in the high-risk group were older, had higher levels of serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), cancer antigen 125 (CA125), and cancer antigen 19-9 (CA19-9), were more likely to experience postoperative complications, and had more aggressive tumor characteristics, such as poor differentiation, lymph node metastasis, and advanced tumor stage. Here, MUC16 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
