CYP3A5 and chronic kidney disease: Table 5 shows associations of ADRB1 rs1801252, CYP3A5 rs776746, and NEDD4L rs4149601 SNPs with CKD and LVH in unadjusted and adjusted (adjusted for the effect of aldosterone levels, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus and use of statins or lipid-lowering therapy) logistic regression models. The CYP3A5 rs776746C/C genotype was significantly associated with reduced risk of CKD (unadjusted: p = 0.03; OR: 0.37; CI: 0.13–0.90 and adjusted: p = 0.04; OR: 0.29; CI: 0.08–0.93).
