Our research demonstrates how flavonoid supplementation induces anti-cancer effects through various mechanisms, including regulation of angiogenesis, anti-inflammatory actions, antioxidant-induced apoptosis, and modulation of key pathways such as phosphoinositide-3 kinase/RAC-alpha serine/threonine-protein kinase (PI3K/Akt) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK). The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is cancer.
