CPLX4 and cancer: A group of highly expressed genes in the brain tissue was related to synaptic neurotransmission, nerve formation, and muscle function, such as Synaphin (CPLX4), Atrogin 1 (FBX032), and Dynamin (GBP5). Other upregulated cancer-related genes included the Calcium-Binding and Coiled-Coil domain (CALCOCO), Crystallin 6-neurotoxicity-neuroblastoma, CDK, Pleckstrin (PLEKHD1), and Rhodopsin (RHO).
