TCAF2 and colorectal cancer: Research indicates that TRP channel-associated factor 2 (TCAF2) in tumor pericytes (TPC) inhibits TRPM8 and promotes Wnt5a secretion through TRPM8 activation or inhibition, overexpression, or knockout experiments, and then activates the signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) signal pathway in tumor cells to promote EMT and realize liver metastasis of colorectal cancer [29].
