MLKL and breast carcinoma: We previously showed [4] that when applied at a high concentration (25 μg/mL), some structural variants of DS, i.e., DS from normal human fascia lata (NF) as well as DS from fibrosis affected human palmar fascia (DF) and DS from porcine intestinal mucosa (PM) could, within several hours, induce both the binding to annexin V and the activation of the necroptotic executor MLKL in cells of two luminal breast cancer cell lines.
