BC and CBD at doses of 30 and 15 mg/kg, respectively, for 3 weeks significantly increased the sirT3 (p < 0.001), PINK1 (p < 0.001), PARKIN (p < 0.01), LC3B (p < 0.01), Beclin1 (p < 0.001), atg3 (p < 0.001), and atg7 (p < 0.001) expression levels, while there was a significant decrease in the expression of the p62 (p < 0.05) protein relative to its respective levels in the sciatic nerves of the diabetic animals (Figure 11C,D).
