The GG and GT of ECE1 rs213045 variants occurred statistically more often in the control group than in women with osteopenia, with 57.1% vs. 50.5% and with 37.4% vs. 35.8%, while the TT genotype occurred more often in women with osteopenia compared to the control group, with 13.8% vs. 5.5% (p = 0.037). This evidence concerns the gene ECE1 and Osteopenia.
