GPX4 and colorectal carcinoma: Specifically, the expression of SLC7A11, CHAC1, PTGS2, VDAC2, GSS, and GPX4 was found to be significantly increased in resistant uL3∆HCT 116p53−/− cells, while that of GCL decreased (Figure 3b), suggesting a crucial role of uL3 in regulating the expression of ferroptosis-related genes in p53-deleted CRC cells.
