We tested if there was a significant difference in overall survival between patients with mucinous and non-mucinous tumors, epithelial and mesenchymal tumor types, as well as between positive and negative tumors for Mucin-1, membrane E-cadherin, cytoplasmatic E-cadherin, and Vimentin, and found no statistically significant differences in survival distributions for any of the investigated groups. The gene discussed is MUC1; the disease is mesenchymal cell neoplasm.
