The study classified, based on somatic molecular alterations, four subtypes of endometrial cancers: POLE (DNA polymerase epsilon) ultramutated [16], microsatellite instability hypermutated (MSI-H), copy number low (wild type P53), and copy number high (abnormal P53) which is characterized by higher incidence of TP53 alterations [17]. Here, TP53 is linked to endometrial cancer.
