BRAF and cancer: Photosensitivity in anti-cancer medications is often through direct toxicity and is induced mainly through UVA [55] and caused by many topical or systemic anti-cancer therapies including BRAF inhibitors (particularly vemurafenib) [56], multikinase inhibitors, vandetanib, chemotherapy (fluorouracil, dacarbazine, methotrexate, paclitaxel, vinblastine), and radiation therapy.
