For patients with MCI to mild dementia (MMSE ≥ 20; n = 18), we found statistically significant correlations between posttreatment improvements in ADAS-Cog11 scores and TNF-α levels (r = 0.59; P = .026); QDRS scores and ADCOMS (r = 0.76; P < .001); and P-tau levels and the P-tau:Aβ42 ratio (r = 0.74; P = .0086) (Table S1, Supplemental Digital Content, http://links.lww.com/MD/N249). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and dementia.
