Our findings demonstrate that administration of either ROSV or LFLU or ROSV+LFLU (in half doses) inhibits RA in experimental model induced by CFA via induction of PPAR-α and subsequent inhibition of NF-κB resulting in a clear reduction in the inflammatory mediators (IL-6, TNF-α) and the matrix metalloproteinases (MMP-9, MMP-2) as well as iNOS expression (Fig. 8).
