In a phase Ib/II single-arm trial, 47% of EGFR TKI-resistant NSCLC patients with MET gene amplification and 32% of EGFR TKI-resistant patients with MET overexpression responded to the MET inhibitor capmatinib in combination with EGFR TKI (181). Here, EGFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
