Compared with enteral nutrition alone, the combination of bifid triple viable preparation and enteral nutrition significantly increased the levels of IgG (MD, 1.01; 95% CI, 0.20–1.82; p = 0.01) and IgM (MD, 0.16; 95% CI, 0.02–0.30; p = 0.03) in patients with AIS, while the IgA level was comparable (MD, 0.05; 95% CI, –0.01–0.10; p = 0.12).
