While other companies have expanded their offerings—Invitae’s PM-GT service now covers 65 cancer susceptibility genes in its 167-gene panel, and 23andMe has expanded its Health and Ancestry service to screen for 44 variants in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, compared to three previously, as well as conditions like MUTYH-associated polyposis—the general nature and scope of the tests remains similar to what our participants took.
