In line with these studies, our results showed that LPS treatment enhanced the level of inflammatory markers like NFκB, TNF-α, and IL-1β, and Alzheimer’s associated proteins like APP and Aβ, and p-Tau while lupeol administration significantly inhibited the LPS-induced effect on neuroinflammatory markers, AD markers and pre-synaptic markers like SNAP-23 and SYP, and post-synaptic markers like PSD-95. Here, DLG4 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
