FASN and breast cancer: reported that in breast cancer, neddylation of PTEN could induce its nuclear location and dephosphorylate the fatty acid synthase (FASN) protein, suppress the tripartite motif‐containing protein 21 (TRIM21)‐mediated ubiquitination and degradation of FASN, promote de novo fatty acid synthesis, and ultimately facilitate cell proliferation and metastasis.26
