Interestingly, elevated expression of miR-181a-5p, a putative tumor suppressive microRNA, was found to be predictive of a positive outcome, in contrast to MN1 and FoxP1. Analysis of non-coding RNAs revealed an inverse correlation between MN1 and miR-20a-5p and miR-181b-5p expression. This evidence concerns the gene FOXP1 and neoplasm.
