Among all eight studies included in this study, the results showed that the serum cystatin C (OR = 1.12, 95% CI 0.96 ~ 1.28, P < 0.01), creatinine (OR = 1.12, 95% CI 0.96 ~ 1.28, P < 0.01), and urea nitrogen (OR = 1.38, 95% CI 01.17 ~ 1.59) levels of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome were significantly higher than those of control group. Here, CST3 is linked to obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
