In addition, we found that more than 30 genes in the TBP cardiopulmonary system, such as PRIM2, KHDRBS2 and ARL15 (GTPase15), are known to be functionally involved in coronary artery disease, the FEV/FVC ratio and cardiac septum development40,47,48, indicating that these TCSGs might play important roles in the heart and lung function of TBPs.
