As indicated, genes such as PIK3R2, PLCB1, EGFR, JAK2, PLCG2, GNG7, GNG13, PTEN, GNAI1, MAPK1, PRKCB, PRKCD, and STAT3 genes were located at the core of the network, indicating that these genes were related to mastitis in Xinjiang brown cattle (Figures 4C, D). The gene discussed is PLCB1; the disease is mastitis.
