For the PHQ-9, we obtained results similar to those reported in previous studies at most cutoffs, including a total score of at least 10.17,28,29 However, when considering 5 or more symptoms rated with a score of at least 1 (with ≥1 symptom being a cardinal symptom), specificity was lower compared with that found by Fann et al.29 Further, the recommended cutoffs of 7 and 10 for the GAD-7 and 3 and 4 for the PC-PTSD-5 yielded lower sensitivity and higher specificity values compared with prior studies.19,20,21,27,32. This evidence concerns the gene GAD1 and post-traumatic stress disorder.
