Coupled to the observation that large amounts of neutrophil EVs are present in RA synovial fluids11 and that circulating neutrophils from patients with RA can generate EVs with appropriate cargo (eg, AnxA1; miR‐455‐3p), we propose that innovative therapeutic approaches for joint disease could rely on natural or semisynthetic52 vesicles as nanomedicines in the near future. This evidence concerns the gene ANXA1 and rheumatoid arthritis.
