Additionally, NKp80 would also be useful to exclude NK-cells from the analysis, as shown for minimal/measurable residual disease (MRD) monitoring in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL), once combined with both cytoplasmic and surface CD3 and CD16, since NKp80 expression was found to be consistently negative in blast cells in all MRD+ T-ALL cases studied (n=77; unpublished results). This evidence concerns the gene KLRF1 and T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
