MAP2K1 and lung adenocarcinoma: have reported on the exome and transcriptome sequencing of preinvasive and invasive lung adenocarcinoma, identifying significantly mutated genes such as EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor), RBM10 (RNA binding motif protein 10), BRAF (B‐Raf proto‐oncogene), ERBB2 (erb‐b2 receptor tyrosine kinase 2), TP53 (tumor protein p53), KRAS (KRAS proto‐oncogene, GTPase), MAP2K1(mitogen‐activated protein kinase kinase 1), and MET (mesenchymal to epithelial transition factor) in the pre/minimally invasive group.11
