Denosumab is approved by USFDA, EMA, and DCGI to be used in the treatment of increasing bone mass in men with osteoporosis at a high risk of fractures, addressing bone loss associated with prolonged systemic glucocorticoid therapy in adult patients, enhancing bone mass in men at an increased risk of fracture undergoing androgen deprivation therapy for non-metastatic prostate cancer, promoting bone mass in women at a heightened risk of fracture receiving aromatase inhibitor therapy for breast cancer and post-menopausal osteoporosis [2,19]. Here, CYP19A1 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
