The D&Q combination significantly improves physiological functions in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) patients (Justice et al., 2019; Nambiar et al., 2023) and can effectively eliminate p16INK4a‐positive cells, reduce the activity of SA‐β‐gal, and attenuate the release of inflammatory factors in patients with diabetic nephropathy (Hickson et al., 2019). This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2A and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
