The results suggested that sarcopenia was not the influencing factor of postoperative complications, while the albumin ≤35 (albumin >35 versus albumin ≤35, OR = 0.43, 95% CI: 0.21–0.86, p = 0.02), lymph metastasis (OR = 3.70, 95% CI: 1.76–7.77, p < 0.001) and TNM stage (OR = 2.79, 95% CI: 1.32–5.88, p = 0.01) was risk factors for postoperative complications in univariate logistic regression analysis (Table 5). Here, ALB is linked to sarcopenia.
