BRAF and melanoma: Data from autopsy study showed cardiac involvement in up to two-thirds of the cases.1 The diagnosis of melanoma with cardiac metastasis before death and without autopsy, however, is rare.2 Here, we report the case of an 81-year-old patient with a malignant melanoma who was presented for cardiologic diagnostic before the start of adjuvant immunotherapy with serine/threonine-protein kinase B-Raf (BRAF)/mitogen-activated extracellular signal-regulated kinase (MEK) inhibitors.
