A summary analysis of somatic mutations in these 31 genes indicated that among 991 BC samples, 78 (7.87%) had mutations in m6A regulatory genes (Fig.s S1A, B), including genes such as FMR1, LRPPRC, YTHDF3, RBM15, WTAP, ZC3H13, RNPA2B1, YTHDC1, YTHDF1, ELAVL1, and IGF2BP2, with missense mutations being the most common. This evidence concerns the gene IGF2BP2 and breast cancer.
