GNLY and toxic epidermal necrolysis: Consequently, GNLY is involved in the development of numerous immune-mediated diseases such as graft-versus-host disease, type I diabetes and multiple sclerosis as well as some immune-mediated skin diseases, such as psoriasis, alopecia areata, lichen planus and Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS/TEN)28–32.
