Coiled‐coil domain‐containing 68 (CCDC68, also known as se57‐1) was first identified as a tumor‐associated antigen in cutaneous T‐cell lymphomas.[21] Our previous work showed that CCDC68 localizes to centriole subdistal appendages and functions in microtubule anchoring during interphase.[22] In the present study, we demonstrate that CCDC68 is recruited to unaligned kinetochores during prometaphase. Here, CCDC68 is linked to neoplasm.
