TP53 and osteosarcoma: Using unsupervised clustering, the osteosarcoma (OS) patient database was classified into A and B subtypes, revealing a poorer survival prognosis in subtype A. There were 19 genes with significant differential expression between the two subtypes, among which only one gene, SQLE, was highly expressed in subtype A. Previous research has demonstrated that the p53 transcription regulator can inhibit tumor cell growth through suppression of SQLE expression (39).
