NPPB and atrial fibrillation: Patients with significant TR had a higher prevalence of prior atrial fibrillation or flutter (87 vs. 44%; P<0.001) and higher levels of NT-ProBNP (5308 vs. 2453 pg/ml; p = 0.004) and troponin at presentation (68 vs. 51 pg/ml; p = 0.02) compared with patients without significant TR.
