CD4 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: The levels of resting memory CD4 T cells, activated memory CD4 T cells, γ–δ T cells, M2 macrophages, and resting mast cells were significantly higher in NASH (P < 0.05) (Fig. 8C) and further analysis of CIBERSORT scores showed a strong positive correlation between plasma cells and M0 macrophages, while a strong negative correlation was found between γ–δ T cells and monocytes (Fig. 8D).
