Most importantly, the DRD2 agonist quinpirole, administered in exact analogy to therapeutic regimens of PD (5 mg/kg/d) (50), achieved a comparable anti-angiogenic effect to the l-DOPA/DDI treatment (Figure 3G), and none of the administered dopamine receptor agonists and antagonists significantly altered the number of infiltrating IBA-1+ MPs (Figure 3H).
