In Sprague-Dawley rats with mammary carcinogenesis induced by 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene (DMBA), constant daphnetin treatment for 28 days at 20, 40, 80 mg/kg dose-dependently corrected these inflammatory changes as well as enhanced the antioxidative protection in these cancer-bearing animals by hindering the expression and nuclear translocation of NF-κB (Kumar et al., 2016).
