After adjusting for gestational age and birth weight, the risk of BPD in preterm infants with Ang-1 concentrations of ≤ 8800.40 pg/ml was 10.720 times (95% CI: 1.793–64.096, P = 0.009) higher than that in preterm infants with Ang-1 concentrations of > 8800.40 pg/ml. This evidence concerns the gene ANGPT1 and bronchopulmonary dysplasia.
