DGCR8 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: Furthermore, hnRNP U knockdown significantly decreased the levels of premiR-151 and miR-151-5p in HNSCC cells, while the level of pri-miR-151-5p remained unchanged (Fig. 6g, h), indicated that hnRNP U promotes the maturation of miR-151-5p by recruiting the microprocessor complex (DGCR8 and DROSHA) in a m6A modification-dependent manner.
