ViaNase devices (Device 1) were continually used for 18 months in a subset of 49 participants in the large-scale Randomized Clinical Trial to investigate the safety, efficacy, and feasibility of intranasal insulin for the treatment of Mild Cognitive Impairment and Alzheimer’s Disease, published by Craft et al. The gene discussed is INS; the disease is early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
