CD8A and autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura: Analysis of the CD8+ T cells subpopulation showed that the mean percentages of CD8+ Naïve T (TN) and Central memory T (TCM) were significantly lower in ITP patients than in controls (20 ± 2 vs. 31.4 ± 2, p < 0.0001) and (13 ± 0.5 vs. 16.8 ± 1, p = 0.01), respectively.
